Homecoming

Hooray!! Allie was able to come home around lunch today. Ill post pictures as well as an update once we are settled.

Many people have been praying for us and Allie for many months and I know everyone is excited to finally meet her. Due to her being a premie and having respiratory problems we have been given guidelines that are a little stricter than for a healthy newborn. Once we are settled we don't mind having visitors but (as advised by the doctors) visitors probably won't be able to hold her and if you are sick or have been around someone that is sick please do not come by. We don't want her to have to go back to the hospital.

The have also advised that we keep the number of visitors ( and children ) down for the first 6 weeks until she is stronger. As much as we'd love to show her off her health is our top priority.

Thankfully from being in NICU she is on a tight schedule and our goal is to keep her on it. She is eating every 3-4 hours and sleeping the rest of the time.

Come back soon and well have homecoming pictures and a post on the NICU is in the works. Huntsville hospital NICU nurses and staff are great!
